RATINGS & REVIEWS
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Attractive but Noisy My wife and I watched the How to Install video on YouTube multiple times before we started swapping out toilets ourselves. It was very confusing having so many options, but we went with Option #3 and used both of the supplied reducers to go from 3/4 " to 7/8 " so we could connect the water supply line. We did not go buy a water hammer arrester because the toilet is so attractive on it's own, we thought it looked very unattractive in the video. Considering hammer noise is a known issue that they discuss in videos, I wish it had one built in and hidden from site. Overall, it is very noisy, so if you plan to install it in an en suite bathroom take that into consideration.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sadly waste of money... The toilet work well for a year and a half, after that it start not flushing even a simple toilet paper, i wrote to the company who send me a new electric pump for free, but the same problem occured after replacement, i wrote to them again and they told me i need to change the whole electric cover for 599.99$+tx with 15$ shipping. The pressure in my house is really great and every other toilet are working fine. The only reason i gave 2 stars is the service is great, but i d'ont recommend the toilet, its one huge waste of money sadly... i really wished it was a good product.. i would have equip my whole house with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good choice for the price I bought three of them when this model was on sale at Costco months ago. As a DIY’ er, I managed to install two of them, with one more to go. Installation for the second one was pretty smooth once I gained some experience after finishing the first one, which was not complicated when you follow the installation manual. I have no complains or issues with the use of the smart toilet so far. However, I do have have few things to share with : 1) you can hear the water hamming when flushing before and after, 2) the air blower is not as effective as you expect. 3) do not use the wax ring provided as it can cause water leaks if not installed properly. Overall, considering the price you pay for the product, I think it is a good choice if you want to experience a smart toilet in your washroom.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good when it works. We brought Stan early before renovation, so it sits on the floor for about a year. Once it's installed, we do enjoy the convince. The worst part is, it last less than a year. Just in one regular day, after it flushed, the water just keeps running. Try to unplug or anything we could possibly do, the inner electronic shut off just wouldn't response to any order. If a smart toilet stopped working when the warranty is out, you guessed it. So, I suggest you look elsewhere and save yourself some time and money, look for a company that have longer support for their electronic parts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failure..dizaster Most plumbers have no idea how to install it. Water gushing after installation caused water damage. Feed hose is 3/4 of an inch and Ontario plumbing is made of 3/8 ..confusing to plumbers. Installation video is explaining 3 ways to install, more confusing. I look it as if you bought a new iphone ...you must change it after couple of years... it's not going to live for 10 years... the same scenario with this toilet...too much electronics...pumps...electrical circuits...not Like the usual toilet seat which operates by gravity and lives 15 years without a hitch. DON'T BUY.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm blown away! I've read the other reviews and I have to question what plumbers they were hiring. I would consider myself moderately handy. I can swap out a light fixture, a light switch, a faucet here or there but that's about it. I was able to get this installed with minimal frustration and without needing to buy any additional parts. There are 3 installation options. I wasn't going to replace any fittings so for me option 1 was out. I struggled thinking option 2 was what I needed, because I didn't read all of the instructions at first and didn't realize there was an option 3. Then when I realized I needed option 3 I was off to the races. I love almost everything about this toilet/bidet. In fact we're doing a major renovation and have decided that when they go on sale next we're buying 3 more so every bathroom will have one. It's probably easier to go over what I don't like: 1) the packaging/features list doesn't include the fact that this thing blow dries your butt for you. I assumed it didn't have this feature and almost spent considerably more money, like more that double the Costco price, on one that had it until I realized that spending over $800 extra for a butt blow dryer was stupid. I was over the moon happy when I realized this one had that feature and I saved a ton of money. 2) I don't love how certain features require the remote control. I'd prefer to not use the remote at all but without it you can't turn the night light on/off, you can't adjust the blow dry temp, etc.. 3) You can't seem to disable the auto-flush sensor and it only works when sitting down, there is no sensor for men urinating which would have been nice since it would mean a 100% touch free experience. Disabling auto flush would be handy for those who find they blow dryer doesn't get the job done, they could pat dry with toilet paper and then flush. Currently if you use the bidet it flushes for you before drying. As you can see the stuff I don't like are hardly big issues at all. I don't think you'll find another smart toilet/bidet with these features anywhere close to this price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great toilet Not sure how we went withouth We did a bathroom reno and decided to buy this unit instead of an addon Bidet option. For an all in one unit best priced on the market. I love it and miss it when not at home. I have had to deal with OVE customer support and they are top notch as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBE SO FAR AFTER ONE MONTH after one month we had to have our septic tank pumped, the toilet flushed EVERY time you sit on it. Hubby and I are diabetic and use the toilet almost every hour and due the high amount of water we drink the urine is basically clear, and we only flush ever third or fourth time, this thing uses alot of water and flushed itself without a way to turn it to manual use...... not good for people on limited water and septic tanks, and the noise it makes while you sit on it like a fan with bad bearings, cant turn that off either.......

Stan toilet keeps popping the gfci that it is plugged into. Have been using it for a month with no issues until today. WHY??

Asked by: Heath
We would recommend plugging the toilet in a different plug using and extension. If the GFCI pops on that one too, it would indicate that there is a problem with the toilet. If it doesn't pop, it would mean it is the GFCI it is normally plugged into that is defective. Feel free to call one of our experts at 1.866.839.2888 for assistance.

How can the beeping sound be muted or turned down?

Asked by: geemailed
Check their video at the link provided with the installation manual (for some reason they prohibited me from posting the link to their own video) -- you can turn off the beeping by turning it off and holding the lady button (toilet seat) for 3 seconds till it beeps, then turning it back on. I have verified and it works as designed.

Installed Ove Stan toilet with 3/8 water line but put in 1/2 adaptor and everything works with no leaks but water runs continuously (in and out); flush is fine but can't get water to stop running without cutting off the water supply. Any help

Hi, I'm looking at your Stan model at Costco and I don't find any reviews for it on the web and your site does not have a compare function so I could see the difference between the products. Do you have an other way to help me make up my mind. Thanks

Asked by: Hoogie Crush

I'm trying to figure out what is different between the Stan model and the Lena, and why the Lena is selling for a lot more... Like the other person commenting, I find it difficult to compare models without some kind of comparison chart...
