Perfect For Bathroom Remodel
Bought this beautiful rustic wood bathroom vanity for my remodel project about 6 months ago and have been very pleased with its look and functionality. The overall size (dimensions), (2) drawer space and (1) shelf space were a good fit for my storage needs and bathroom size (8ft L x 5ft W). The sink is a decent size and the black granite countertop, though elegant, does need to be cleaned frequently of what appears to be cloudy white water stains and soap stains that usually show up by the faucet and hot/cold handle connections. A quick moist towel wipe should be sufficient to resolve these stains.
However, when the vanity was first delivered and taken out of the box I noticed a couple of issues with it immediately:
1) the almond latte wood appeared to have a white cloudy finish to it in certain areas of the vanity that went well beyond its intended rustic looking appeal. Had to "restore" the wood by applying some Old English mineral oil (for dark woods) to those areas which blended and absorbed nicely into the wood finish. Not a big deal to fix but I was annoyed that I received it in this kind of condition. Not worth boxing it back up and returning and getting a new one delivered since the contractors needed to get the project completed on time.
and...
2) One of the drawer brackets was not attached properly and therefore the soft closing drawer glide feature was not working. Had the contractor reattach the drawer bracket which corrected the issue. Again, not a big deal to fix but I should not have had to repair what appeared to be a damaged feature of the vanity.
As I mentioned, I have been using it now for approximately 6 months and overall I am very happy with my purchase.
