Just what the wife ordered
While I had hoped to use base and sidewalls from Ove along with this door, remodeling limitations prevented that from happening but I HAD TO HAVE THIS DOOR despite concern that I no longer would have the minimum required opening. After research I knew that I could cut an inch from the opening side of the shower wall as well as the bottom trim. Voila, it worked and my VENICE 59 works and looks great. This was a super easy install. I have worked with tempered glass shower walls before and so knew to be careful with not over tightening or hitting with hard surface. Should last a long tme and look good all the way.

well documented, easy install
The installation manual is very good... a couple of minor improvements could be added to make the instructions awesome. IE.. there is a small piece of trim that goes on the bottom threshold and a photo of where this goes is needed. When you first "fit" the crossbar they have you put on the door rollers and stops - not necessary at this point and in your way as they tend to fall off while trying to fit. The cross bar "clips" that stop and hold the door open or closed -- I did not see any mention regarding their function and or adjustment - that sure would be nice to include!

Generally great, instructions lacking
We're pretty happy with the door. Simple (after figuring out some nuances) installation and it hasn't leaked on us. Biggest complaint is that the instructions are occasionally a little ambiguous. The bottom track piece has two grooves and at first glance it looks like it could be installed either way. In practice, if you install it oriented incorrectly then the door won't slide due to friction. We had to figure that out ourselves; maybe it's mentioned in the instructions but I can't find it. Sometimes things are mostly illustrated without accompanying text, which takes a second to fully understand as well. Knowing what I'm doing now I could probably install one in their ~2 hour timeframe, but first one took longer.

Great Shower Door
Got our Venice door from Lowes. Dry fit door prior to tiling to ensure it would fit, and that backing lumber in the correct place. Then installed porcelain tile. Had to trim the top rail by 3/8" due to thickness of installed tile. I used longer stainless steel wood screws than provided due to thickness of tile + mortar + cement backer board. Other than that, no problems at all. Door glides easily. Seals work well. So far I have not added the optional drip rail that goes on floor on door side. Hardest part was drilling mounting holes through the porcelain tile.

Top quality
Just installed this shower door and it looks fabulous. The instructions and helpful hints were accurate and straight forward. It is recommended to have two people as the doors are heavy to handle by yourself. Great product!!

Leaked but good customer service
We liked the way the Venice looked, but when we used it there was a good amount of water leaking through the panel where it was “sealed” by the manufacturer. Contacted customer service and got to an actual person on the line fairly quickly. Andre gave me his direct extension number so I could contact him. He was easy to get a hold of and OVE agreed to ship a new piece and pay the $475 my contractor said he’d charge to dismantle and then install the new part. So, it was disappointing that there was a manufacturing defect, but they made it right.

Nice door - screws too short!
This is a nice door in appearance, and relatively easy to install. I would have liked to have had a complete plan view of the shower interfaced to the side panel with dimensions in the instructions. The wall channel mounting screws are too short to install in a tiled shower with backer board to reach wood blocking or wall studs - I bought 2.5” to replace. The wall mounted u-channel is thin, and screws are short as well - would have liked barrel screws here. These are very good value for the price.
