DESCRIPTION
The OVE Hermosa toilet offers a more Stately design thanks to classical elements and a strong architectural design. With an elongated seat and ADA approved height, it’s also comfortable. It is packed with features such as soft close seats to prevent slamming, and an overhang seat cover for a seamless look while the quick release seat makes cleaning a breeze.

Poor design
We bought this expensive toilet with much regret now. Even though my husband has replaced MANY toilets none were as difficult as this because it leaked after 4 times of redoing the tank. We had to buy metal bolts and washers twice thinking that would fix the problem. I guess we will absorb the hundreds of dollars waste and go buy a well know quality product. Please save yourself time and frustration and look into a better product. By the way they put in capital letters that there is no refund and do not return. LOL wonder why!

Eggcellant. (Assuming ove means egg)
Bought the Ove Hermosa at Menards 1 week ago in spite of reading many negative Ove toilet reviews. Fortunately they were wrong. Phew! Maybe I’ll stop reading reviews.
Other review claims:
—- Poor installation instructions. Wrong. They were just the right amount of detail and easy to follow. Installation was easy and problem-free.
—- Wax ring was too thin. Huh? It was the same thickness as standard wax rings. I bought a spare just in case and didn’t need it Ring supplied was just fine.
—- it leaked all over. fortunately I didn’t have any problems. I suppose if you didn’t install the gasket property then it would leak. Solution - be careful putting the gasket between the two big parts. make sure it’s well seated. And don’t over tighten the bolts. Fortunately no leaks at all.
—- don’t trust the plastic bolts. Admittedly, I would have preferred brass bolts - but been using nylon bolts for years without problems in other applications. And plastic bolts don’t corrode over time. However, don’t over-tighten plastic bolts. They will strip out if you do.
—- the seat slides all over. I Didn’t have the problem. In fact this quick-detach seat was more stable than the others I have used. Very Nice design.
—- cheap plastic flush buttons will break over time. I mine were metal and pretty strong. Maybe Ove replaced the cheap plastic buttons when they made mine? The dual flush system seemed pretty strong.
All in all, I was happier with the Ove than with the American Standard and Kohler I’ve used in the past. Very stylish too. Good price at Menards.

nice but missing instructions
I bought this to replace a standard height toilet. Now that I am getting older I wanted a tall toilet. This is sturdily built with substantial thickness of the ceramic. I like the dual flush. What I didn't like is the seat fasteners, which are not well done and hard to figure out. Also, my toilet came with no instructions or warranty information. No paper of any kind came in the box. I had to go online and search for installation instructions and warranty info and contact information. Is it really that hard to put the information in the box? I have replaced toilets before, but the seat fasteners are so different I need installation instructions to figure them out. That being said, the instructions didn't help much. I basically had to figure them out myself. If it had a different seat, I would have given it a 5 star review.

Almost a 5
Installation was easy, except the illustration of the parts for attching the tank to the bowl were not clear. After attaching it a couple of times & having leaks I added rubber washers under the tank in addition to the ones inside, that stopped the leak. But I had to provide those, they were not included. It's been installed for a few weeks and we have had no problems with leaks or operation

Expensive to buy- ruins floors before you figure o
Couldn't figure out what was going on- found i had a leak that only leaks at bottom of flush cycle. Fresh water comes out of tank. Ive tightened and tightened the gaskets and bolts to no avail. Ive got ruined hardwood floors now. Mad, upset, all of the above is an understatement! This thing looks nice but is junk!

Great Height
Bought this only because of the good bowl height (17 3/4 in).
The instructions are poor could be much better.
The seat is wobbly and no way to tighten it up. Poor design on that

Is the a way to increase the water capacity?
