I love my ove tub... that being said the customer service and life cycle of the toilet is ridiculous. we built a house and the visible centerpiece of the bathroom is our beautiful tub. the toilet was amazing for a little over a year.
shopping for a new toilet i came across the reviews for ove's units. i am not alone. initially the problem was a nozzle running too much, then power cycling off periodically. called customer service and was told to buy a new top piece (basically all the components) or a whole new system.
I don't believe the one review that claims they were sent a new top unit. rating it fair because it was wonderful while it worked. cost doesn't justify depreciating it to zero shortly after warranty expires.

cheap build for money
I would not suggest this toilet, i bought 2 toilets 2 years ago, within couple months the plastic on both toilets started to crack. I contacted the company due to them being under warranty, i proved the purchase it took a year to get the parts. They sent only seat and cover even though the rest of plastic pieces were also cracked to pint of pieces falling off. I contacted them again i was told they would get back to me and nothing even after several attempts. so i decided to change what parts i had because they were no good the way they were. Now 3 months later after changing they are cracking again and they do not seem to care. worst part is i like the toilets other than them falling apart they work great.

Horrible product
Horrible product. Horrible service. They keep saying they are gonna take. Now I’m off warranty. And nothing they won’t even respond or answer my messages. They give you a number to call say I’m sorry but don’t answer the phone. Would have Gaven minus stars if I could.

Cheap garbage
Worst toilet I have ever purchased. So many issues constantly, cheap plastic connections causing water leaks, remote broke, somehow seat has water stains that doesn’t wash away. The list keeps going should of listened to the other reviews on Costco.

We love all the bells and whistles on this product. However, we had a similar product by this company and it lasted less than two years. It's very expensive to have these repaired. Hopefully, this one works long term.

Broke after 5 years!
I bought two tuva toilets in 2018. Problems occurred with one of them. They made me buy a new solenoid in hopes that it would fix the issue. It didn't so they sent a technician to take a look.
He said there are peices that need to be removed because it's causing flooding in people's houses (this has nothing to do with the problem we were having with one of our toilets). First of all, Ove should have taken responsibility by making clients hear about this issue. Anyways, after the technician changed the peice in each toilet, our second one started having a similar problem. We had no issue before this with our second toilet.
They took responsibility by sending me a couple of new solenoids and new electrical top covers for both toilets. They said that I now have two new toilets and I am good for another 5 years most probably. It's been almost 5 months I am now with one functional toilet that also has problems from time to time.
So much for brand new electrical tops? I called them several times and they keep telling me that my warranty is over and that it's normal for their toilet to stop working after a few years.
DO NOT BUY THIS TOILET IF YOU DON'T WANT TO CHANGE IT TO A NEW ONR AFTER A FEW YEARS!

Any suggestions for winterizing the toilet because the power and water will be shut off shortly?.
Winterizing your toilet when the power and water will be shut off is important to prevent freezing and potential damage. Here are some steps to winterize your toilet:
Turn off the Water Supply:
Locate the water shut-off valve for your toilet, usually located on the wall or floor near the base of the toilet. Turn it clockwise (right) until it's completely closed to stop the flow of water to the toilet.
Flush the Toilet:
Flush the toilet to remove most of the water from the tank and bowl. Hold down the flush handle until the tank is almost empty. This will reduce the amount of water left in the toilet.
Empty the Tank and Bowl:
Use a sponge, towel, or a wet/dry vacuum to remove any remaining water from the tank and bowl. Be sure to get as much water out as possible to prevent freezing.
Add Antifreeze (Optional):
If you live in an extremely cold climate and are concerned about freezing, you can add non-toxic RV antifreeze to the bowl and tank. Pour a small amount (a cup or two) into the bowl and tank to help prevent freezing. Make sure it's safe for plumbing use.
Cover the Toilet Bowl:
Place a toilet bowl insulating kit or a trash bag filled with insulating material (such as packing peanuts or foam) over the toilet bowl. Secure it with tape or a rubber band to prevent cold air from entering the bowl.
Insulate the Tank:
Wrap the toilet tank in an insulating blanket or foam insulation to help keep it from freezing.
Seal Any Drafts:
Ensure there are no drafts around the toilet. Use caulk or weatherstripping to seal any gaps or cracks in the bathroom that could let in cold air.
Close the Lid:
Keep the toilet lid and seat closed to further insulate the bowl.
